I've come to believe that the most important thing any of us can do is realize our own worth. I haven't always felt mine. There were times I felt weak, and cut off from the people around me.

Then I saw something in these shells. On their own, they're easy to overlook. But placed in the right spot, they shine.

I saw that most clearly in my own mother. Our family went through hard times. But in my eyes, she was always wonderful. That's the belief at the heart of Aurorely. Every woman has a worth that is entirely her own, and in the right place, she shines.

Aurorely also began with something every gift-giver knows: choosing a gift is hard. It can't be too generic, and the person who receives it has to truly love it. I built this place so that finding that kind of gift becomes possible: something fitting, not ordinary, not something you could pick up anywhere.

So every piece here is made to work in two directions. For the woman who receives it, it's a quiet reminder of her own worth, every time she sees it or uses it. For the one who gives it, it's the feeling of having found something that truly fits her.
